In this mosaic concentric circles are surrounded by wavy lines to form arches. Thick circular bands in different colors alternate with those bordered in black, as they diminish in size swirling towards the center filled with triangles done in black, white and brown. Triangles in black at the top and bottom of the arches give the impression of a series of connecting flowers, like open lilies. This delightful imagery is replaced, as if by a trick of the eye, into wheels or gears that seem to be in motion, twirling in opposite directions towards the infinity of the central circle. This mosaic has been reconstructed using ancient and modern materials. - (PF.5323)
