Rome, ca. 1st-2nd century A.D. Hammered bronze pail / situla with concentric ring circle decoration on underside of base and under rim. Bail handle decorated with segmented concentric ring elements; separately cast female headed bail attachments; finely-incised segmented rim. Overall blue-green patina with scattered red oxides. 6"D, a few very minor shallow surface dents, missing tiny tip of bail finial, otherwise excellent.
