This flask belongs to a family of attractive 1st century AD glasses which use contrasting glass colors in an attempt to simulate the effect of mosaic glass flasks. This vessel is blown in darker color glass and subsequently receives a carefully articulated pattern of lighter color glass trails. Traces of nice iridescence and weathering.
