A very rare type of early glass, with exceptional eye appeal. Similar objects fetch beyond $10,0000 in auctions, especialy the non repaired ones. A closely similar one, about the same size, sold for $11,875 for an estimate of $5,000 - $7,000, (lot 113, Christie's New York Antiquities Auction, 4 June 2008).
