A large and beautiful Roman bronze plate or low bowl, 1st.-3rd. century AD.
A finely made bronze plate with a small central omphalos ('navel').
Size: 173 mm. wide, only 35-40 mm. high - Very impressive in hand!
Condition: Superb, very good metal, perfectly smooth dark green interior, fine thick mottled green, red and brown patina on the outer surface.
