We have here a very nice ancient Roman Glass "Tear Jar". Lovely light blue patina. "It is said that when the men would go out to war the the wives would save their tears in a glass vessel as they await their husband." Size: 14cm x 5cm Date: Appox. 100AD Originally found in or near Jerusalem in excavation sites and comes complete with Certificate of Authenticity issued by the Hamedian Gallery as authorized by the Israeli Antiquity Authority.
