BYZANTINE OIL LAMP OF JUDAEA, 6th Century C.E. 100mm length, 66mm width, 34mm height excluding handle. Very Good condition. AdlerBN.7 type. Larger than the earlier Beit Natif with straight edge nozzle, small spout and flat base. Geometric medallion with thick palm brance trimming. Palm branch also decorates knob. Additional photo at bottom. A very interesting and heavier Byzantine lamp. Well designed.
