SASSANIAN SILVER BOWL WITH HANDLE, 3rd - 6th CENTURIES B.C.E. This silver bowl is dated to the time of the compilation of the Talmud in Sassania (called Bablyonia in the Talmud) from approximated 200 - 500 C.E. It is of simple yet elegant design with subtle incised decoration near the rim and a small handle. 162 gram weight, 14cm diameter (5 1/2"), Stand INCLUDED. Additional photos at bottom. A nice precious metal bowl of an important historical area and period. Very Good intact condition, NO cracks, with a stable hard patina!
