Small jug with globular body and straight tall neck and curved handle, all coated with tomato red ground slip. Coloured gound slip ares were popular not only in Khurasan and Mazandaran, but also in Kirman province. In fact, manganese and tomato red painted slip ware were excavated at Ghubayra in Kirman province, dcorated with white and yellow paintings. They were also excavated at Afrasiyab and in Afghanistan, suggesting that they were traded long distances.
