Kashan 'Black and Blue' Lustre Bowl - AMD.165, Origin: Central Asian, Circa: 1200 AD to 1300 AD, Dimensions: 2.6" (6.6cm) high x 5.7" (14.5cm) wide, Collection: Islamic Art, Style: Kashan, Medium: Fritware. This must be one of the earliest bowls decorated in fully-fledged undergaze-painting technique. Its style of decoration can be linked to the miniature lustre style, which was replaced by the Kashan style in 1200 AD.
