Culture: Sassanian. Date: 4th - 6th Century A.D. Material: Transparent yellow-brown glass. Condition: Intact. with weathering and iridescence. Provenance: Ex: American private collection. Measurements: 4.9 inches high (12.5 cms). This sizeable flask is pear-shaped rim with horizontal flange abd rounded lip. Entire body is covered with twelve horizontal rows with circular facet-cut, center of base with a larger indented circular cut. An extremely rare type, especially in such form and condition.
