Splashed sgraffiato ware,the body of buff earthenware with low rounded cavetto, tall sloping walls and rim, resting on a foot-ring. The inside surface incised with simple foliate design, with large heart-shaped petals radiating from the cavetto and further surrounded ornamented by scrollwork, all painted in manganese and green splashes .
