A Roman Period terracotta Oil lamp from the Holy Land. Round shape w/ round fill hole. Also has a very nice floral pattern design. Intact, in very good condition. Attractive red colored clay shows through an earthen patina. Also has some burn marks around the spout. Dated 100 B.C. - 300 A.D. Size: (approx)10 x 7cm. Found in excavation site in or around Jerusalem. Includes Certificate of Authenticity issued by the Hamedian Gallery as authorized by the Israeli Antiquities Authority.
