A Roman Period terracotta Oil lamp from the Holy Land. Round shape, squared fill hole and faint patterned design; also has groove lines on the base. Intact, in very good condition. Attractive reddish-Orange clay with a earthen patina and some burn marks around the spout. Dated 100 B.C. - 300 A.D. Size: (approx)10 x 7cm. Found in excavation site in or around Jerusalem. Includes Certificate of Authenticity issued by the Hamedian Gallery as authorized by the Israeli Antiquities Authority.
