A Byzantine Period, Late Samaritan-type Oil lamp. Gray patina. Pear shaped, with horseshoe shaped fill-hole and a geometric design. Intact, in very good condition. Some burn marks around the spout and some encrustation built up inside. Dated 5-7th Century AD. Size: (approx)10 x 7cm. Found in excavation site in or around Jerusalem.
