Glazed pottery, deep thin walled bowl having a low rim foot. with Kufic Arabic Inscriptions, the reverse with floral design.
Areas of original turquoise glaze remains
with traces of a black linear decorative element, silvery iridescence patina.
Repaired from original pieces with visible
breaklines.
Provenance: Private NYS collection, purchased from Hadji Baba, Tehran in the late 1950s to early 1960s.
