A very good conditioned ancient coin in a sterling silver 925 Pendant. This is an authentic ancient coin dated 59-62A.D found in excavation sites in or around Jerusalem. The setting is made from 925 sterling silver and is handmade by our very own Armenian Jewelers in the Old City of Jerusalem. Each piece is stamped 925. Coin Description: Judaea Porcius Festus, Procurator, 59-62, AE Prutah (19x20mm), Hendin 653, F. Obv. NEP/WNO/C within wreath. Rev. Palm branch surrounded by KAICAPO and date LE (year 5 of Nero's reign, 58-59) The coin is brown with a light green patina. The obverse is slightly off center, part of the wreath is still clear, and you can still make out many of the letters. The palm branch on the reverse is clear, but the half of the inscription that is very weak. Porcius Festus, procurator under Nero, whose name and title appear on this coin, sent the Apostle Paul to Rome for trial before Casear (Nero) at Paul's request, according to Acts 25:12. Size: 2x2cm
