Flat-bottomed aryballos, Corinth, 625-600 B.C., ref. Payne 1931, type C "round arybaloi", round body and flat bottom, decorated with two sirens framing a large palmette.
Very large example of the type of vessel which was usually small, attached with a string by the neck.
Sold with a TL test and a passport.
