This amulet is in the form of a statuette of the goddess Taueret. She is represented with the body of a woman and the head of a hippopotamus. In this beautiful figure, she is shown with pendulous breasts and a stomach. In Egyptian mythology, Taueret is not only a fertility goddess, but she is also the protectress of pregnant woman. - (PF.4421)
