Beautiful Deep Red Wood Chinese wedding Basket About 12 1/2 inches across the top and 16" foot and 4" deep - the red is a deeper color than the pictures. It is mark under the bottom and under the lid with what appears to be the same mark in black under glaze - it has woren gold flowers and butterflies around the top rim of the bowl. It appears to have been restored because the gold flowers and butterflies are woren but underglaze. The foot on the bottem edge is unglazed and undamaged. The red wood appears to be the natural wood with grain visible the baske has no cracks or scratches. This is a stunning piece. A great add to any collection.
