Authentic ancient Chinese, Tang Dynasty (618-907 A.D.), silvery bronze mirror of square form decorated in floral sprays pattern, set with a central knob for a silk cord suspension.
The reverse of the mirror is with traces of a fabric pattern impression on the silvered background, in which the mirror was wrapped over one thousand year ago. (Please see the close up picture).
DIMENSIONS: 14.3 cm x 13.8 cm (5 5/8 in x 5 3/8 in).
WEIGHT: 216.7 grams.
CONDITION: In good condition considering its age, showing its age and usage with beautiful grey patina with mottled green spots, usual chipping on the rim, otherwise intact.
