This is a qingpai ewer or jug from the Song Dynasty. The qingapi ewer is of sea greenish hue. It stands on a recess 2 tier base with a curving body of a baluster or bulbous shape extending towards a flatten shoulder and then a mildly inverted neck and mouth. The body is also lightly incised with some form of design. This is a shipwreck item.
The qingpai ewer is in good condition. There is no repair or restoration. There is a manufacturing defect as shown in the picture, a small chip to the cover and minor abrasion.
The measurement of the qingpai ewer: The height is 15.8cm and the and the width is 15.9cm.
