A signed and dated Grand Tour bronze of Apollo, God of Music, Light, and reason. Signed by the french sculptor Math Moreau, with the foundry mark. Apollo, like his twin brother Artemis, was the son of Zeus and Leto. He was born on the floating island of Delos. The term ''Grand Tour'' came about when people in the late 19th century toured Europe, and brought back usually large mementos of the trip.
