Art Nouveau Chalkware Bust . Dark green; red; brown; black and gold leaf. Chalkware. This is a bust of an Indian woman. She has a red shawl with gold tassels draped around her shoulders that is held with a gold button. She has long black hair drawn back and held with a knot. She wears a gold leaf band around her head with coins and tassels and a jeweled medallion in the center. She has black eyes and a dark completion. The square base is stamped, "URIELA. (?)Motella. Cologne." 2543 and the letter W are written in the plaster.
