Rare pari of antique French bronze fawns or kids. This charming pair of "French bronze fawns" or kids were brought back from France over twenty five years ago and date from the 19th century. They are the quality of French sculptors Isadore Jules Bonheur, Rosa Bonheur, Bayre, Mene, Fratin, Moigniez and Clodion. They are not signed as far as we can see, nor can we find a foundry mark. These are truly rare works of art by a master sculptor and cast by a top foundry. Excellent original condition with beautiful brown patina. Life size.
