Although Mary Tarleton Knollenberg has shown her sculpture at a number of museums and galleries around Connecticut, including such institutions as the Yale University Art Gallery and the Lyman Allyn Museum in New London, she seems to have avoided or, perhaps, been avoided by the New York art world. Her work, though unconventional, is of real quality and deserves to be better known." Born 1904 Died 1992. Cast by the Modern Art Fndy NY
