Description: The cup is made of turned burl with a gadrooned base. The base with badroons and carved bone feet. The cover again made of the same burlwood and is accented with carved bone crown and finial.

Additional Information: Elegant turnings such as the present example became popular within the Aristocracy during the Rensaissance and remained popular through the Baroque period and into the 18th century.
