Artistically it is an excellent and unique piece by the sculptor's gifts to reflect perfectly the Anatomy of Christ on the subject, the Crucifixion. Very detailed in the muscles, injuries, face and tunic that covers part of his body.
The serenity of Christ is overwhelming .
It was made from a painting by Van der Weyden.
