Carved faceless man, Acia wood early 20th century collected in Shan State Burma. Possibly a nat carving Burmese folk art used for representation of ancestor, spiritual leader, or devotee. Partial eriosion and water damage over time only add to the mystique of this facesless statue. Wonderful Folk art, primitive art, and fabulously intriguing.
