A RARE mid century, modernist, blown glass center bowl (or compote) made with controlled bubble base made by Carl Erickson, in Bremen, Ohio, during the 1950’s in the rare and desirable amethyst color with a crystal clear controlled bubble base, still perfectly retaining its original Erickson sticker and delicately signed twice on the bottom in diamond point!
Perfect condition! A truly stunning piece of mid century art glass! 12†wide x 7†tall.
This is the only piece of Erickson glass we have ever seen or heard of that is signed twice, probably an oversight while signing it.
