circa: 2000 width: 51 height: 84 length: 26 This beautiful double domed linen press is English-made from burl walnut as a reproduction of a Georgian antique. The walnut looks exquisite, being distressed, finished, and polished all by hand in an elaborate process that takes many days to complete. This linen press also features optional satinwood, walnut or herringbone inlays that, together with the antiqued solid-brass hardware, complement the principle wood beautifully. With four large drawers, each featuring hand-cut dovetailed joints, and a locking cabinet containing two fully adjustable shelves, this linen press offers plenty of storage. There is even enough room in the cabinet to place a TV; indeed, most linen presses are used as TV cabinets, a habit that began when closets became popular and linen presses began to find alternative uses. Shaped bracket feet provide sturdy support as well as an elegant base. This antique style linen press is quite unique in its extravagant double-domed design and is also quite useful, making it the perfect candidate for any home or office furniture collection!
