circa: 1920 width: 45 height: 44 length: 21 This lovely Queen Anne style chest was English-made around 1920. Today, this chest remains as beautiful as ever, with a rich patina that enhances the striking grain and lovely complexion. The brass hardware, which is 100% original, contrasts beautifully with the mahogany, while the panther feet are as elegant as they are sturdy. Uniquely, the bottom two drawers have special modifications: the bottom has a shoe rack, and the one above it is divided into three compartments. Each drawer also features hand-cut dovetailed joints, which is a sure sign of fine craftsmanship. While this chest of drawers has sustained some minor marks that are consistent with its age, it does remain impressively sturdy, so overall its condition is very good.
