circa: 2000 width: 37.25 height: 30.75 length: 21 This gorgeous mahogany bachelors chest was originally crafted in England around 1970 to be used in the British RAF. Our cabinetmaker in England recently treated this chest to a full restoration, which included new flame mahogany and satinwood veneers on the top and drawer fronts, a new base and set of feet, a new brush slide, and new brass hardware. The result is a beautiful bachelors chest whose elegance is matched only by its remarkably sturdy structure. With a traditional two-over-three drawer design, this chest offers plenty of storage space. Each drawer of course features dovetailed joints, and the shaped bracket feet are very firm. Because this chest was restored so skillfully, overall condition is excellent, although there are a few wear marks on the sides, since they remain original to the piece.
