The burl walnut, for instance, is treated to an elaborate finishing process that includes hand-distressing and hand-waxing to produce a rich complexion and grain, both of which are complemented beautifully by optional leather and wood inlays and solid brass hardware. Five drawers, each featuring hand-cut dovetailed joints, offer plenty of storage space, while two file drawers accommodate legal- and letter-sized files, and a central cabinet provides extra storage in the center. As a base, you have an option for plinth or ogee bracket feet.
