circa: 2000 width: 30.5 height: 83 length: 22 This antique style mahogany cabinet was recently hand-crafted by a third-generation cabinetmaker in England. The mahogany was treated to an elaborate finishing process that ended in a fine, hand-rubbed wax coating. The result is a beautifully polished cabinet that displays a deep, lustrous complexion and a highly pronounced grain. The satinwood inlays and brass hardware also contrast beautifully with the mahogany, while an exquisite crown with teardrop moulding adorns the piece. Much of the piece was made with old and re-claimed timber, including the drawers, which have new fronts and hardware but older frames. Each of the drawers features hand-cut dovetails, and the cabinet rests on sturdy shaped bracket feet. Because this cabinet is brand new, condition is excellent, so this piece would make a great addition to any setting.
