circa: 2000 width: 83 height: 41 length: 22 This exquisite burl walnut sideboard is a newly handmade Georgian period reproduction originating from England. The burl walnut was treated to an elaborate finishing process that ended in a thick, quality coat of wax, which both protects and enriches the natural beauty of the wood. The result is a gorgeous wood surface that displays both a lustrous complexion and a remarkably pronounced grain. The serpentine design is also quite elegant, and promises to make this sideboard a striking piece in any setting. As useful as it is lovely, this sideboard also contains two cabinets and a drawer, all of which lock, and the latter of which features hand-cut dovetailed joints. The square tapered legs, which end in spade feet, are also as strong as they are elegant, since this new, handmade sideboard is after all quite sturdy.
