circa: 2000 width: 42 height: 46 length: 21 This beautiful mahogany blanket chest of drawers was recently English-made as a reproduction of a Georgian antique. The flame mahogany displays a striking grain and lustrous complexion, while antiqued solid-brass hardware and optional inlaid satinwood banding form a lovely contrast to the wood. The shaped skirt makes an elegant complement to the shaped bracket feet, which rest on casters for easy movement. Each of the five, large drawers features dovetailed joints-just like antique furniture-and plenty of storage space. The pulls on this chest were replaced, so small, barely visible lines trace the pulls where oval pulls once were. Also, the top of this chest developed a small amount of spotting during the finishing process.
