circa: 2000 width: 60 height: 81 length: 28 This exquisite mahogany computer desk is English-made by hand as a reproduction of a Georgian period antique. The flame mahogany, which the cabinetmaker treats to an elaborate finishing process, displays a fine, rich complexion and a distinct grain, both of which look particularly striking in combination with the customizable gold-tooled leather and solid brass hardware. The default ogee bracket feet look are as sturdy as they are elegant, while the credenza itself offers a generous amount of storage space, including one file drawer, one computer cabinet, three standard drawers and a central, hidden keyboard drawer--not to mention the hood that sits on top. Because this is a pedestal credenza, it does disassemble into the desktop, two pedestals and hood. Of course, as this desk is handmade, it is also incredibly sturdy, so it will last for generations to come.
