Antique 19th century (1831-96) Qajar Dynasty Persian Islamic ceramic bottle –flask of globular body with tall slender neck, flaring trumpet mouth on short spreading foot.
Painted under glaze in blue, turquoise, cream, brown and ochre enamels on white background with seated figures of a lady and a gentleman in Persian costumes holding flask and the goblets in palace garden.
The flask neck is decorated with vertical blue stripes and foliates bands covered in a rich deep glaze.
CONDITION: Showing the age and usage, neck broken and repaired, the neck glaze with old repaired chips.
