SOLD Antique Buddhist bronze hanging oil lamp, 17th century Ceylon (Sri Lanka), made of several elements of cast and turned bronze. The baluster shape central staff has three arms with wick spouts terminated in stylized dragon’s heads, resting on an oval trumpet foot.
Complete with long suspension chain adorned in the middle with an elaborate circular plate and solid hook on the end.
Dimensions: Overall length including the chain: 85 cm (33 1/2 in).Height of the lamp: 35 cm (13 3/4 in) .Width, including wick holder: 24cm (9 1/2 in).
CONDITION: in its original condition with deep dark patina.
