Each were carved by our local artist celebrity Tusau in the early 1900. From left: 1.) A Hampatong Penan catching a boa, note the beautiful Rhinosaurus Hornbill on his head. Medium hardwood, some visible splits. 2.) A Penan warrior, note his elongated earlobe. Carved from a single piece Billion/Ironwood. Antique. 3.) A Penan warrior with his priced Ayam Sabong/Fighting cock, such rituals are seen to this day.
