The blade is adorn with golden Naga. The wooden sheath is carved with beautiful tulisan Jawi. The pendongkok, fitted below the hilt of the keris, has a scrolled design of floral pattern. These motifs can only be archived by a pandai besi. In bygone days a skilled maker was much respected and every Raja maintained a master craftsman, known as empu or pandai besi, at his court.
