Another beautiful ancient Inca textile from the Pachacamac site, southeast of Lima, Peru, ca 1400. Woven of camelid fibers against a native cotton background, depicting seven standing llamas, each with what appears to be a bird upon its back. Very vibrant and wonderfully woven! Professionally cleaned and mounted on museum-grade linen stretched against wood frame, ready for hanging or framing. 13-1/4"W x 3-1/4"H, in excellent condition.
