Rare Antique, 18th – 19th century, central Asian Turkmen, or Uzbek Islamic teapot, carved out of a piece of Chlorite stone, carved all over the exterior with decorations consisting of elaborate medallions with checkered pattern, richly set with approximately 800 turquoise stones of different size, and with 62 red gems.
CONDITION: In good condition, considering its age, showing its age and usage with no cracks, restorations, or repairs. Absence of lid, some stones are missing, otherwise in good condition.
