Very lovely ancient textile panel from the Pachacamac site, located about 40 miles southeast of Lima, Peru. Dating ca. 1400 AD, panel of woven camelid woolen fibers over a cotton base, in the form of four zoomorphic creatures - possibly representing frogs. 13-1/2"L x 3-1/4"H, in excellent state of preservation, mounted on linen and upon a stretcher board - ready to hang or frame.
