An Early 20th Century Maple Butcher Block on Four Turned Legs.

This butcher block is made of solid maple with 4 turned legs. It has evidently seen much use, as the surface is well worn. The distressed patina is very appropriate for a vintage butcher block such as this. The short end of the table displays 3 wooden dowels, which run through the table to hold it together. The numbers “25107” are stamped on the doweled end. There are no other identifying marks evident.

• Height from floor with legs is 31 ½”.
• Block length is 30 ½”.
• Block width is 20 ¾”.
• Block depth is 13 ½”.
• Leg height is 18”.
• Weight is approximately 240 lbs.

This would make a great coffee table, occasional table or objet d’art.

The legs were detached for moving. They will need to be pounded back into the block; we haven’t done that as we expect they will need to be detached again for shipping.

This butcher block may be picked up in Boylston, MA. Pick-up will require at least 2 very strong people. We can arrange for freight shipping if required.
