AP Critchlow & co daguerreotype case known as gutta purcha or union. Great Civil War United states symbol on front & back of case, sheild with stars & stripes. Inside is original label and tinted dag of gentleman which could use cleaning. Case rich black color, light spot is from photo, case all even, hinge tight, minor flea bites to edge. Dag is 1/6 plate.
