Early 20th century tortoiseshell case - possibly for cigarettes, although there are no restraining band holders. Hinged case, but the clasp on the front is half missing, so it does not close properly. Case measures 8.5 cm by 5.4 cm and is 2.1 cm thick. Exterior of case is somewhat dull with age, commensurate with having been in a pocket for many years.
