A fabulous old mourning portrait, altered with a mask, Millicent was tired of being so forlorn and in mourning all the time! Now she is ready for the masquerade ball... A very dark oil painting to add an instant family member to your walls, she is dressed in black with a black lace scarf on her head, probably coming from a funeral. I have added a paper mask for an additional air of mystery. She is painted on old canvas, artist unknown, and I put her a nicely blackened antique frame. 28" x 23". Very haunting.
