Nice big chunk of kauri gum (the fossilised resin of the New Zealand kauri tree, thousands of years old. This is a younger amber than amber found in the Northern Hemisphere, but can be polished and used for jewellery or decorative items, even industrial use - just as Baltic amber). This chunk measures 14 cm by 11 cm by approx. 7 cm. Weight 387g.
